Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today we met at 5pm and worked on a worksheet. The student is a good worker, and hopefully he can get into more complicated concepts at some point in his education. The student seems more motivated when he is doing something that he is interested in."
"The student appeared much more relaxed today. We went over Scientific Notation, Box & Whisker Plots, Measure of Center, Measure of Variability, Interquartile Range, and Slope & Intercept Form. She has a great attitude and was eager to demonstrate her learning."
"Today we reviewed multiplication of multi-digit numbers and working with percentages. The student is getting very good with multiplication and can do three terms and four digit numbers. I was happy with his progress. He's able to work with percentages too, although I'd like to see him understand the equations to get the answers."
"We covered two problems the student did not get correct on his last exam that he was allowed to make up for points back. These two problems involved transformation of a curve, specifically translation of the curve, and another problem involving vectors and planes."
"The student and I prepared for his quarterly exam by simplifying rational expressions as well as multiplying, dividing, adding and subtracting them. The student did a great job and was instructed to continue studying and consult with his teacher to be sure he is ready for the end of the school year."
"Today we reviewed more logistics of graphing, namely finding equations of lines that pass through certain points, that are parallel, and that are perpendicular to each other."
