Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We went over more questions related to Chapter 10: Types of Muscles and Muscle Function. We reviewed 35 questions. We will meet again during Spring Break to go over Chapter 12: Neural Tissue."
"Anatomy: Respiratory System. The student has an exam coming up over the respiratory system. She will text me to let me now how it goes. The main difficulty was naming and telling the functions of each part of the system. By the end of the session, she was able to label and tell the functions of each, as well as verbally answer questions that the teacher has given her that will be on the exam. Chemistry: The student has an exam next week. Her class is just starting the new material for the exam. She will let me know what they are covering so I can bring supplemental materials to help reinforce class work. Algebra: This is the student's most difficult subject. We covered radicals, exponents, and logs. she had some old tests that we were able to look over and she was able to tell me what she did wrong with the problem and was able to do it correctly. I am emailing her extra practice now that I know what she needs to work on."
"The student was able to send me a study guide for his Anatomy and Physiology final through email. We covered topics such as the urinary system, digestive system, reproductive system, circulatory system, and respiratory system. The student was quite knowledgeable about the topics already, but he needed a boost in confidence. He was unsure of a few answers from each section so I was able to talk him through it and ensure that he understood the topic before we moved forward. I believe he will do great on his exam!"
