Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today was our first session together, and we had fun! We started by introducing ourselves, and we established what she would like to achieve during our sessions. The student's level of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary is advanced, and I know we are going to have a great time learning new words. We spent our whole session talking and discussing art, culture, politics, and countries, then we went over different media to use for learning materials. I suggested some things, many with which she was already familiar. For our next meeting, I am going to prepare some vocabulary lists and notes of things about which we can talk."
"We finished the first unit of the Spanish textbook. The student is improving his reading comprehension and is retaining a lot of the material we go through. I recommend he make flashcards to help him memorize tricky words with their feminine or masculine articles."
"Really good first session. We dove into conversing in Spanish and building a word bank. Conversation was introductory and about self and the home. Gave student homework to conjugate some verbs, find and learn some prepositions, days, months, and numbers. Has a great passion to learn language!"
"I worked with the student alone today. We reviewed everything from our last session and continued new subject matter regarding affirmative and negative words and words associated with tener. We did written and oral exercises."
"Today we finished up with vocabulary of places to go. Then we reviewed all the vocabulary from the book we have completed. Next time we meet, we will start a new level. She will continue to work on the vocabulary that we have covered."
"Today, the student and I continued to work with the same set of exercises as last session. We also worked on some business vocabulary, to help him with the particulars of his job. As always, he is steadily improving."
