"The student and I went over transcription focusing mostly on transcription in eukaryotes and briefly transcription in prokaryotes. His professor has an interesting way of giving notes, but the student does well when we go over it especially with images of the process."

"Today, I helped the student study for her physics exam to take place tomorrow. We studied more problems than usual, covering a wide range of topics from electricity with kinematics, to electricity and forces. These topics included electric potential, electric field, energy, and electric force. She will study even more problems on her own to prepare for her test."
"I had a two-hour review session with the student in preparation for his semester final in AP physics. We spent the first 80 or 90 minutes reviewing problems involving conservation of momentum and collision problems. There were no collision problems with more than one dimension involved. He seemed to have a fair grasp of how to approach these problems by time we finished with them. We then moved on to problems involving rotational motion and problems involving gravitational force. These problems were not ones he had looked at recently so we took time to review them. He did a bit better with the rotational motion problems than he did with the gravitational force problems. This was the last session of the term. He seems to think it's likely he will need me next term for statistics."
"We looked ahead to the chapter on waves, focusing on superposition and how to use the formulas. We talked about standing waves, nodes and harmonics. Then we did several practice problems, where she did well."

"We went over the basics of oscillations and simple harmonic motion. The student has a strong background in trig and was able to grasp the concepts quickly. We worked through the entirety of her homework."
"We did practice problems focused around rotational kinematics. She did not do well on a recent quiz, mainly because of a conversion idea she had forgotten to use. Once reminded of it she did much better. With more practice she will become proficient."
"We went over Work Energy theorems from the AP exam in preparation for her exam tomorrow. The student seems to understand concepts and math very well."
