Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student worked on his Chemistry assignment on Freezing point depression and Boiling point elevation. Afterwards, we worked on his Geometry assignment for area and perimeter of polygons. He displays a better understanding and confidence towards these subjects. He will continue his assignment and I will correct them on our next session."
"The student is currently reading "Los Ojos De Carmen," by Veronica Moscoso. In today's session we reviewed chapters 7 through 9. We read them together and summarized the chapters. He was able to give me a summary about the beginning of the book as a means of comprehension, and while reading the chapters we stopped to discuss unknown words. We also stopped and did comprehension checks. He had some homework assigned with the reading and we were able to complete the homework based on his comprehension of the reading."
"During this evening's meeting, the student and I discussed different learning methods. We discussed ways in which he may be a visual learner and how he could incorporate visual aids into his study regimen. Additionally, we discussed the parts of an essay and how to construct a good essay. I also enjoyed discussing the book he is reading in theology and listening to his description and retelling of what he is learning."
