Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Completed problem set 92 for homework. Also did practice problems to review for test on Thursday. The student is doing better with the new material, but I worry about his pacing in regards to having enough time to complete his test. We will continue to prepare for his test this week."
"The student had a check-off understanding sheet of example problems. Going over those problems took the entire session. She has a chance to retake the quiz on this content, so will use the notes from today to study for the re-quiz."
"Covered polynomial multiplication, simplification and factoring. Gave him some ideas on how to solve the 3 and greater degree polynomials with multiple multiplications. The student will continue to practice the material we worked on together. There were no grades available."
"We talked about graphing and also about working with rational expressions: f(x)=P(x)/Q(x). We went over asymptotes, intercepts, range, domain, and actual graphs. She has no conceptual difficulties. I reviewed the concepts above with her and left her with several more difficult problems of my own design in preparation for her test on Tuesday"
"The student worked on his math homework. He continued until all were correct. Next, he read a book for 20 minutes and then logged about the content."
"The student worked on her homework assignment on exponential decay and growth. She grasped the concepts very quickly and feels confident with them."
