Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We went over the chapter on Imperialism and then watched a crash course on the subject. A lot of the work in this section had to do with maps and the formation of new countries. He really works well with maps and was able to make clear connections between sections."
"Reviewed Enlightenment thinkers and their philosophies. Completed homework from 1/20-1/24 for history. Discussed Peter the Great and his accomplishments, Catherine the Great, Charles I (his reign and execution for treason), James II (revolt and ouster), Parliament, absolute monarchy, and constitutional monarchy. The American colonies and Articles of Confederation (weak central government). The student and I also discussed the state of the Union and Terrorism. He took a World History test on Tuesday and he thinks he will have his grade by Monday's session. We also reviewed his reading of "Lord of the Flies" for English and societal roles and "governing.""
"Today we continued our intensive review for the exam the student is taking on Tuesday. We reviewed the Russian revolutions and some current day issues. I left the student with a lot of review work and practice questions to complete over the weekend before we meet for our final session."
