Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We covered basic SI unit conversions, significant figures, scientific notation and the use of dimensional analysis for stoichiometric conversions. The student was not struggling with anything major. I left the student with some chemistry study guides for her reference throughout the semester."
"The student and I reviewed his circuits homework. I explained how to simplify circuits and how to work backwards to determine the voltage and current through each component. I tried to stress how you can answer most theoretical questions (e.g., what happens if you flip this switch) by creating two simple circuits and comparing them (and the current/voltage in each component). I think the student did well and seemed to grasp things quickly, especially since he had not yet covered any of the material in class."
"We went over momentum and impulse problems. I reviewed problems to help the student prepare for her upcoming midterm. I also left practice materials for her to work on in her free time."
