Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We went over sampling distribution, hypothesis formation, z-tests, and power. We then began 2-sample concepts. The student is doing very well and will continue to improve."
"Today we briefly reviewed protein genesis from the prior session and also protein and amino acid digestion. The primary material covered today concerned the fate of amino acids within the liver, muscles, and intestines. This includes the primary amino acids necessary for each of those systems. We discussed in great detail the urea cycle and carbon skeleton processing. The carbon skeleton processing system was also used to discuss and revisit the Krebs and urea cycles. Other topics included functional categories of proteins, essential versus branched chain amino acids, and the general uses of amino acids within human physiology."
"We worked on naming compounds, predicting reactions, balancing equations, and types of equations including combustion, single replacement, double replacement, decomposition, and acid-base reactions. We also went over stoichiometry and limiting reactant problems."
