"The student and I talked about his last test and why he didn't do as well as he wanted to do on it. He got a 71% on the exam, which is better than his last exam. He was more well prepared for this one. We walked through all of his study guide."
"The student and I prepared for his chemistry final that was upcoming this week. We reviewed a lot of the older principles and chapters in the book. We started from the early sections dealing with the metric system, conversions, mass and density. We also focused on the structure of the atom and some of the principles of electron configuration. While at the beginning of the lesson, he appeared very unfamiliar with all of the concepts, or was only familiar on a basic level, by the end of the lesson, he said he felt more comfortable with the principles and the ideas we were going over."
"Student A - We went over her biology PowerPoint review. Afterwards, we focused on areas that she was less familiar with, such as cellular respiration, phases of mitosis, life cycle of a cell, and photosynthesis. Student B - We went over her chemistry review. We reviewed topics such as limiting reagents, how to find moles produced, how to balance chemical reactions, and how to calculate energies of photons."
