Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We went into more detail on the topics of mitosis and meiosis. We also did some work on means of genetic variability and chromosomal errors (e.g.- Down's Syndrome)."
"Today the student and I worked with fluid dynamics. It's been a long time since I last worked on fluids, so it took me awhile to get back up to speed. The good news is that she seemed more confident by the end."
"This is my first session with the student. It was from 4-5:30PM. I plan to review subjects she has covered in AP Chemistry and identify where she doesn't understand concepts. Then I will review with Pre-calculus concept with her. I will edit this report once the session has occurred."
"We covered intermolecular forces in the context of Biology. The student had questions about certain molecular forces and he seemed to grasp at concepts quickly. We took two quizzes concerning intermolecular forces and he seemed to understand the concepts for the most part. I will be emailing him with additional practice questions at a later time."
"In this session, we talked about dominant and recessive traits, as well as Punnett squares. We also looked at assessment exam questions that concerned genetics."
"Today the student and I worked through her homework packet and did practice problems online to prepare for her plant biology exam. She is picking up the material well. At our next session I told her that we will be going over her practice exam. She continues to have a positive attitude."
