Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I spent most of this session working on a worksheet on free-fall and projectile motion. We briefly covered some Algebra concerning writing quadratic equations in vertex form."
"This was my first time meeting with the student. She wanted to review for her upcoming final. We focused on the topics that gave her the most trouble such as two dimensional kinematics, choosing the right equation to use for specific problems, and drawing the proper pictures/diagrams. The student seems very good with the math and algebra portion of physics. The biggest challenge for her is manipulating the equations and laying out a plan for solving the problems. We definitely focused on the conceptual ideas of motion in two dimensions, such as how forces in the x direction influence motion in the x direction and that forces in the y direction influence motion in the y direction. I think the student ended up being more comfortable with understanding when to use which equation."
"More physics final prep. She needs to finish her review packet herself before we finish going over it together."
