"The student and I prepared for his upcoming exam. Topics covered included trigonometric identities and their solutions, including general and particular solutions."
"The student began a new unit on the fundamental theorems of calculus. We began the session by going through each theorem slowly with an example. We then looked at her homework problems to see if she had any pending questions. She did not realize how simple applying the formulas is, so we went through similar examples to her homework problems, until she understood what allows the formula to be so simple. We then looked at other problems in the same section including two sample AP free response questions applying the fundamental theorems. We also completed a few practice MC questions."
"We went through the practice problems provided for the your exam. Some of the older concepts were more difficult to remember, but you understand the concepts and can do the problems. Great work on the past couple quizzes, and just need to keep studying and practicing."
"The student and I went over mostly SAT material in preparation for his exam. He has already gained entrance to his college of choice, so now he is working on improving his scores in order to earn scholarships. I think he has made some good progress and we will see how his results turn out this final time."
"Great session with the student! She is learning the basics of matrices math. She got a 98% on her test that was about sequences and series!"
"Today we reviewed lesson 78 and 79 which included volume of triangular prisms and cylinders. We also discussed simplification of radicals and fractions. We also reviewed problems about percent increase and proportions. The student had a little trouble on parentheses, and adding and subtracting negative signed. She did very will with solving inequalities and finding areas today."
