Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I reviewed several subjects in order to make sure he is retaining the information that we go over in our sessions. I had the student code several projects, which utilized every aspect of information we have covered up to this point. He is becoming more comfortable as we practice and I think this practice should help him moving forward."
"Today we worked more specifically on problem set 5.2 and the functions within it. We used this problem set as a jumping off point for discussion of functions and how they are created, called, and used in a program. Then we discussed some of the in-build functions in Processing including mousePressed, keyPressed, and then the pMouseX vs MouseX commands. We ended with a high-level discussion on commenting code for readability and as a strategy for maximizing points on exams/homework."
"We went over the remaining practice final questions and reviewed a few questions that were asked on the midterm. This session includes one last 30-minute review that we are going to have tomorrow evening prior to the final."
