"During this session, we focused a bit more on scripting some of the content we have already covered. We used months, days, and numbers to talk about birthdays, what day it is, introducing spouses, and giving directions. We also covered answering the telephone, things around the house, and questions that can ask in customs."
"I brought a story boards with no words and had the student tell me a story in Spanish using the pictures as reference. I encouraged her to look at details to come up with a more complex story as well as the character's facial expressions."

"Today I worked with both students on assessing their level of Spanish. With student one I am going to focus on building his vocabulary, going over some concepts that he may have missed during this semester, and preparing him for his remaining examinations. Student two is in great shape to get an A in her class. With her, I am going to help her fine tune her work and reinforce some higher level concepts."
"We covered vocabulary of chapter 1B of the Spanish textbook. In it we covered vocabulary to talk about things to do, words to do comparison "as much as..." "as many as..." We reviewed the present tenses of each verb, and then discussed how the preterite perfect differs from the preterite imperfect, and how future differs from conditional. We discussed the verb haber and its use in "have done..." phrases. I also showed him how saber and conocer are used in different contexts."
