Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I worked on correcting his book-report. He found some extra selections in the book that he could use to expand parts where his teacher wanted him to expand. His writing was clear and his ideas were good, but he seemed to struggle with finding the right place to insert new ideas in the essay, as I have noticed in previous essays. After that we went over his vocabulary and did some exercises. He did this very well, and I was very favorably impressed with the level of his vocabulary."
"We talked about his essay topic for English class, his Reading class book and checked the assignments online. He finished his math homework online, and he said he would finish his Science worksheet."

"Today, we discussed the rest of our sessions together up until her final exam. She will be out of town until a couple of days before her finals. We went over her last test and the questions she got wrong. We also went over Chapter 12/13 study guide and any other things she didn't understand. We went over Chapter 8's study guide and wrote down a schedule up until June 3."
"In our session yesterday, the student and I continued to study for his upcoming map quiz in history, by making several template maps that included locations, names, or borders, so that the student could then add in all other information accordingly. We practiced until we arrived at the point where the student could mark and label everything onto a blank map, without trouble. We then moved on to study the material on his next history textual quiz."
"The student and I continued to work on his essay for "A Midsummer Night's Dream," including text analysis and proper structure. Additionally, I'll be emailing with him tonight, providing suggestions for his paper."
