Tutoring review by Jacob in Woodinville, WA
In tonight's session, we worked on more extraneous equations. The student is doing extremely well with the current material. She needed very little help on completing her assignments. I had to help her with a few minor things, but besides that, I feel she is fully prepared for her upcoming exam.

The student has a test tomorrow on matrices. She has a good hold on the material, so we went over a few practice problems. There was one word problem that she had trouble with, but once she set up the necessary equations, she could do the required operations. I think she'll do fine on her test tomorrow.

Tutoring review by Carro in Woodinville, WA
Today's session started with study and organization skills. Specifically, the student's assignment binder was reviewed with him, a task list for items that should be completed by our Thursday tutorial session and assignment pages for the remainder of this school week and for next week were completed. He was left with the task of organizing assignments by date for two subject areas. Assignments for the Social Studies section of the binder were organized with the student in tonight's session. We also revisited solving equations by elimination, a skill which he is still having difficulty per a recent progress report. He appears to understand the process for completing the equations. In our session on Thursday, we will specifically work on solving calculations across operations involving integers in isolation and then return to the process of solving system of equations by elimination.
