Award-Winning Elementary Math Tutors in Farmington Hills, MI
Katherine I have loved teaching for over 30 years, from elementary through college. I have tutored in many courses but focus a lot on helping with Math subjects. Whether non-motivated to extremely motivated, I enjoy working with all different types of students! I love to facilitate learning, start with success and build upon success. I believe I help students develop a "love of learning," rather than the "ol' grind of learning."... First session is the most important session. The student is judging me and sizing me up. I do a lot of "get to know you" while getting a "feel" for the tutoring subject.

Andrew ...Linguistics. I went on to the University of Iowa College of Law, where I served on the Iowa Law Review, and I graduated in 2013 with a Juris Doctor. I received a 169 on my LSAT (97th percentile), and I have performed equally well on the ACT, SAT, and on numerous Advanced Placement exams. My areas of expertise are in LSAT preparation, Government, Political Science, English, and History. I hope to meet you soon!... I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all philosophy for students. I think each student needs a specialized plan, depending on their ability, motivation, and preferred method of learning. I try to develop such a plan for each student I teach.
