Award-Winning Elementary Math Tutors in Augusta charter Township, MI
Katherine I have loved teaching for over 30 years, from elementary through college. I have tutored in many courses but focus a lot on helping with Math subjects. Whether non-motivated to extremely motivated, I enjoy working with all different types of students! I love to facilitate learning, start with success and build upon success. I believe I help students develop a "love of learning," rather than the "ol' grind of learning."... First session is the most important session. The student is judging me and sizing me up. I do a lot of "get to know you" while getting a "feel" for the tutoring subject.

Joel ...is simply a myth that some students just aren’t smart enough or cut out for math and science. We all learn differently and any subject can be explained from myriad perspectives. Too often the way a topic is being covered in class just isn’t well suited for every student. I specialize in tailoring my explanations and methods to fit the learning style of each student. This is accomplished by doing more than just drilling the...

Sydney My name is Sydney. I'm a high school math teacher in Detroit, MI. I love building relationships with my students as I believe this helps motivate them to want to push harder. I teach because I want to show others that they can succeed in math even though it is challenging.... I believe students need to try first, even if it may stump them initially. I always ask my students questions to get them to think on their own when they're asking for help.
