"We fixed a handful of bugs with the puzzle solving program, mainly an issue that caused the program to stay in infinite loops. We also worked on restructuring the solving algorithm so that it changed the correct values and works as intended. We'll be meeting on Friday to check progress."
"This session began by working through the documentation for ProcessingJS and showing the student how it could be used for animation. Some technical problems caused slight holds, though we looked at some example code and did some small programs. I helped him to understand how to deal with such environment issues in general. We then worked through 1.4 in his pre-calculus text, a rather reiterative chapter on graph interpretation and function properties. However, I thought it best to give him work from this chapter to ensure his steady progress through the text."
"We covered bitwise operators, 2's complement, and overflow. Also bit-manipulation, and bit-twiddling. Before next time, the student is expected to read the computer graphics website on his university's website."
