"I received my BA in linguistics from UMass Amherst and my MA in history from Louisiana Tech. I was previously a Latin teacher at the high school and college levels and now occasionally teach history at SLU. I can help with students who are having difficulty in any area of social studies. My focus is on pre-modern Europe (Greece, Rome, middle ages, Renaissance, Reformation,) but I am more than competent in modern European and US history. I also work with students in other social studies, particularly economics and sociology (my research focus is social and economic history.) I enjoy working with students studying Latin at all levels." ...

" If you're having trouble in class, it's probably because the teacher isn't teaching it to you, but rather the class as a whole. In a 1 on 1 situation we can focus on how you like to learn and we'll make our time together the most it can be. I have multiple years of experience in tutoring. From ages 8 to 20, at elementary school levels to college levels. I find tutoring an incredibly rewarding experience and thoroughly enjoying doing it."
