Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We did a review of verbs, verb conjugations, days, months, counters, seasons, colors, body parts, adjectives, and weather. I then had him write the hiragana alphabet."
"We went through Japanese Greetings, Hiragana Letter and Katakana Letter, and some vocabulary. I left him some exercises for Japanese writing."
"As this was our first session, we started by discussing where the student was at in her Japanese studies and what she was struggling with. We learned some new vocab -- days of the week-- and went over general counters (hitotsu, futatsu, etc.) which the student had just learned and was having trouble understanding. We completed her homework, which focused on the new kanji 'hi/nichi' and even got a head start on upcoming homework. She seemed to genuinely enjoy the material which made the session rewarding and enjoyable -- I'm looking forward to seeing her progress in future sessions!"
