Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"In this session, the student and I continued to cover bureaucracy, specifically the Iron and Dissent Triangles. He took an exam on Thursday, but had not received his scores. We will continue to practice multiple choice questions in order for him to be maximally prepared for the AP exam."
"Finished reviewing for the student's American Government exam. Paid particular attention to amendments, principles of republicanism, and federalist/anti-federalist ideas. I urged her to continue to review the flash cards we had made once the session was over."
"Updated Government project and watched video lecture clarifying outline requirements. Reviewed research and outlined responses done during past session. Continued researching and writing responses to outline questions including: constitution, conflicts, gender, and human rights. Quickly confirmed that he done the correct homework problems for Logic. Physically located and checked out two books from the library stacks to use for further research."
"The student and I continued work on her Indian democracy case study paper outline, due October 31. We made plans to meet again on Wednesday to complete answering the basic outline questions, pending some information the student requested from her instructor, and will begin restructuring her outline into an order similar to that of her paper."
"Introductory session with the student. Worked on AP Government FRQ quiz upcoming tomorrow. Went over 4 questions on the test. Discussed his learning and reading issues and gave him techniques to address them."
"We reviewed chapter 11. I had a couple of pdf's of the textbook and reviewed with the student the key vocabulary and areas she needed to understand. She has a good grasp on the industrial regions and the key concepts of the chapter, but she will need to review some of the vocab a little more. We will continue to work on that."
