Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I worked on his finance investments review. Topics covered included: net asset value, total return, rate of return, initial margin, maintenance margin, the rule of 72, weighted average, and market portfolios."
"The student and I reviewed Chapter 14 in detail and discussed approaches to his discussion question. He really seems to understand the material, and has a complete understanding of the coursework."
"We discussed bank reconciliations, journal entries for sales discounts and collections, and financial statement analysis ratios (gross profit percentage, debt-to-asset ratio). We also reviewed a problem where we had to fill in an empty space if all these parameters were given - beginning inventory, cost of goods sold, ending inventory, purchases, physical inventory count, and shrinkage (loss of product inventory). The student has a better understanding of these concepts because we worked intensively on the other session reviewing basic journal entries and financial statements. He easily understood the bank reconciliation and inventory problems from his practical life experiences."
"We covered Chapter 15 today which is Monetary Policy and touched a little bit on the two interest rate models"
"We worked on his College Algebra problem for most of the session and then we worked on reviewing the incorrect questions from his exam."
