Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We reviewed a lot last night. I basically took all of the various concepts from present tense, present progressive tense, ir + a + infinitive, tener+que , preterite tense along with question words like who, what, when, where, why, for what, how many, how, mixed with other basic words and created sentences of specific scenarios. It allowed her to recall everything we have gone over these last couple of months. She is doing really well with her question words, and she is recognizing very quickly preterite tense verbs when she hears them. I introduced her to a new concept of que+ adjective and how the meaning of que changes in that instance as well as the use of que in the middle of the sentence has a different meaning. She has expressed that she is feeling more comfortable with hearing and understanding, but she still wants to become more confident in speaking. Thus, I will begin to focus more on her speaking going forward. She has a strong accent so I want to try to improve her pronunciation and accent in the next sessions."
"During this session we reviewed for his Spanish final. He still needs to work on vocabulary. Overall this session went well."
"Today we did an extensive review of chapter 4 then added on reciprocal verbs. We did written and oral practice."
