I just wanted to let the team at Varsity Tutors know what a great job Daniel is doing tutoring my daughter for the SAT. He arrives on time, stays longer than the 2 hour session, and is always prepared for the day's session. While my daughter wasn't initially happy about tutoring, she seems to actually look forward to it and I never hear her complain. From a teenager, these are good signs! Thank you!
Thank you so much for Hannah. She tutored my son in Spanish 1 and was so helpful. He is getting an A at this time and understands the material much better. She started out by organizing him and quickly assessed his needs. He got an A last semester but was struggling. Hannah has made this semester in Spanish 1 much smoother. I have to tell you how much our family loves Bill, our tutor. He is so dedicated and hard-working. His teaching abilities are impressive and he demonstrated an acute understanding of our kids, not only as students, but as individuals. Our son said our tutor connected very very well with him as he taught him new problems and old problems in a way he was able to understand, and had no problem meeting with him again. They met again yesterday. It was a pleasure for me to finally meet our tutor in person yesterday and instantly got a good impression of him. Our son took his actual test yesterday and believe it or not he got a 92%! Our daughter and Tiffany, our tutor, got along very well. Our daughter is very comfortable with Tiffany and appreciates her friendliness and patience. Tiffany explains Chemistry in a way that our daughter can understand and grasp. Our daughter was able to turn in several assignments and has brought her grade up somewhat already. I thank you for being so responsive and getting Tiffany scheduled with our daughter so quickly. I appreciate your help tremendously.
Jackie, our tutor, and our daughter are doing great together. Jackie helped her pull her Algebra grade up from a 'D-' to a strong 'C' as her final grade…YAY! Once Jackie started helping her with Algebra, she aced her quizzes and made a 'B' on her final exam! Next week they are going to start again on ACT prep. We are more than pleased with Jackie’s tutoring!

My daughter has been having tutoring sessions with Alexander, our tutor, for her Honors Pre Calculus Class. I just wanted to send a quick note to tell you that he is a fabulous tutor. He explains the material really well and my daughter has learned more from him in their sessions then in her class. She feels he is really easy to work with and enjoys the work. She just received another test score back yesterday and she got a 110%, she is so excited. This is the second 'A' in a row since they started working together. We will definitely be purchasing more hours and want to continue working with Alexander. Thank you so much for having such a wonderful tutor!
The whole experience was great! Caryn, our tutor, was wonderful. Our daughter liked and respected Caryn immediately and that carried through the entire time. She was always early, very flexible about times, and brilliant in tutoring. My child is very particular and she was satisfied beyond her wildest dreams. She went into the test on Saturday with good confidence and armed with knowledge and tips from Caryn. She is sure that her score improved dramatically.
