Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I went over logarithmic functions and equations, studying from a chapter in the textbook. We went over about 10 rules she would need to memorize for log functions. I provided notes for the rules as well as multiple problems from the textbook, which we went over. She said she has a test this week. I gave her notes, examples, and rules for her to use as reference material."
"The student and I worked on her review problems for the upcoming test. We focused on applications of integration, specifically work and force problems. She did very well with the review and was able to complete her assignment. We then discussed other test topics, such as solids of revolution."
"We reviewed for the student's quiz Monday. We covered: graphs of curves and surfaces in three dimensions, cross sections, limiting behavior, parameterizations, and finding tangent lines and planes."
"I covered how to solve exponential and logarithmic functions and how to convert exponential functions into logarithmic functions and vice versa."
"The student worked problems that required him to find the surface area and volume of rectangular prisms, triangular prisms, and pyramids. He did a good job"
"The student worked on rules of exponents and radicals. We then discussed exponential functions, including transformations and graphing. She felt very comfortable with the material from class, so we tried some more advanced compound interest applications."
