Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"I covered solving quadratic equations involving complex numbers and the square root rule, factoring quadratics with 2 real roots, and multiplying binomials and trinomials. The student struggled most with complex numbers, but he kept a positive attitude towards his assignments. I included a strategy to solve each problem as clearly as possible. He kept a list of problems to solve. He seems to be picking up speed as we become more comfortable."
"The student and I worked on linear equations and point slope intercept form of lines. She quickly learned the paradigm for solving the problems and by the end of the session, she was able to accurately solve the problems."
"For this session, I pretaught converting decimals to fractions and percents. She seemed to get the concept better after seeing how they were related to cross canceling. She still needs practice with 12 multiplication facts."
"We reviewed for the student's test by practicing multiplying, dividing, adding, and subtracting polynomials. As always, he approached the assignment with a positive attitude."
"We worked on Taylor series approximation and finding the Lagrange error. We also went over the student's exam which he now understands what happened. We worked through quite a few book problems and will continue Monday morning."
"We covered multiplying and dividing fractions and properties of exponents. The student understood and was able to repeat the directions."
