I just wanted to report I took my GRE today and am happy to say my scores went up 9 points on my quantitative (156, which is miraculous for me), 6 points on my Verbal (164), and of course I haven't heard about my writing score, but I think I did better this time (originally a 5). I'm very happy with the results. Brian was an excellent tutor, and he was very flexible with scheduling. I injured my foot this past month, and had to reschedule several times due to doctor's visits and work, etc. Brian was very patient and easy to work with, and obviously his teaching skills helped me enormously. I'm happy to recommend your tutoring to anyone I know taking the GRE. Thanks!

Joseph has done a great job helping our son with his Chinese, our son truly would not have done as well without him. Joseph knows his Chinese and teaches it well and is very patient with our son. Everything appears to be going great, and my daughter is really connecting well with James. She is gaining more and more confidence, and just recently obtained her first A on a test. I am very grateful to have James on board, as he is one of the rare ones with the gift of communication in addition to intelligence. He has also been extremely conscientious and responsive in his interactions with me, which is greatly appreciated. Wouldn’t change a thing. Glad I found y’all. I have another daughter who, in the next year or so, will be headed down the PSAT/SAT path, and I will definitely be contacting y’all to see what sort of prep plans you might have.

I am extremely pleased with ya'lls service. Adam has been great. He helps me immensely during our sessions and is always available for extra questions after. This was exactly what I was looking for and has made a huge difference.
Our daughter needed high SAT and ACT scores for acceptance to her schools of choice, all of which are competitive. We also needed a lot of flexibility because our daughter has a very busy schedule, and classroom tutoring was not an option for her. Our tutor was excellent: she helped our daughter feel prepared and confident, and she was flexible and understanding. The service and tutors are of the highest quality, and we look forward to working with them to help our daughter write her college essays.
My son has never been a good test taker or reader, so we worked with Varsity Tutors to prepare him for the reading portion of the SAT. We hoped for a 40-50 point increase, but he ended up with a 100-point increase on that section. We have another son who is preparing for the SAT next year, and we will only work with Varsity Tutors to prepare him.
My son was making 50's on his tests before he started working with his tutor. He made high B's on the retakes of those tests, and he was able to raise his overall grade from a 70 to an 83 in two weeks. I am so thankful to the team at Varsity Tutors for the difference they made in my son's confidence and academics.
We worked with Varsity Tutors because my daughter was failing her Chemistry class. She needed a significant improvement in her grades at the end of the year to pass, and with the help of her tutor, she passed her last round of quizzes, tests, and final exam, and she passed the class. We're definitely working with them to help my daughter in Physics next year!
After a dismal start to the year in Pre-Calculus, our daughter began working with Varsity Tutors. The staff worked hard to make the perfect match for her, and they went above and beyond in finding the best tutor for her. With the help of her tutor, my daughter says that math is her favorite subject. She now tutors her classmates, and she just won the 'Outstanding Achievement in Pre-Calculus Award' for this school year. She would have never achieved so much without Varsity Tutors. We will continue to work with them as we prepare for the SAT and ACT because we know we will have the highest quality tutors who deeply care about their student's success.
Our son struggled all year in Pre-Calculus despite being a traditionally good math student. He was struggling to make C's in his class, and after a few weeks of working with his tutor, he already has a 'B' in the class. He feels more confident in his abilities and the material, and Pre-Calculus has become a lot more enjoyable for him. We have worked with other tutors in the past, but they have never made as much of a difference as his tutor has in such a short amount of time.
We are so impressed with our tutor and the progress our son has made thus far in French. Even though our son is only 4 years old, his tutor has made learning effective and fun for him. I would highly recommend Varsity Tutors!
We are very happy with the help we have received from Varsity Tutors. Their Regional Director is very competent and is capable of finding the right tutor to fit the need of the student. Our daughter was struggling with Physics for most of the school year. Our tutor from Varsity Tutors brought her test scores from the 70's to the 90's after the first lesson! The confidence she has gained is priceless. Their tutors are highly qualified and proficient individuals. We have signed on for their SAT tutoring after the positive results we have received.
Our tutor was exactly what we were looking for to help my granddaughter. He helped my granddaughter regain her confidence in math and helped steer her in the right direction to have a successful end of the year. I only wish I would have called Varsity Tutors sooner!
The tutor I worked with to prepare for the MCAT was exceptional. I looked at a lot of options before deciding on Varsity Tutors, and what really sold me was their service. I felt like I had a team working with me, and their service didn't end after I signed up. Their director checked in with me regularly and worked with my tutor to make sure I was moving in the right direction. I felt valued and appreciated as their student.
My only regret in working with Varsity Tutors is not calling them sooner. Our tutor is the perfect match for our daughter and has helped her gain confidence in her Chemistry class. What used to take her 3 hours to complete, she now spends 1.5 hours and has time to focus on other subjects. Our tutor is always on time, has never missed a session, and checks in throughout the week to see how my daughter is doing. She'll even answer questions if my daughter calls her during the week. We're now using our tutor to prepare for our daughter's upcoming ACT, and we'll use Varsity Tutors for anything we need help in in the future.
I didn't know if Varsity Tutors would be able to find a MCAT tutor who could explain the material to me in a way that I would understand it. My degree is in Spanish, and any time I have worked with a math or science tutor in the past, I've had difficulty learning from them because they couldn't explain it in a way that I could comprehend. My tutor at Varsity Tutors has proven me wrong! Not only did he teach to my learning style, but he was calming, patient, and really showed that he cared about my success. Overall, I'm incredibly impressed with my tutor and how much I've accomplished!
We worked with Varsity Tutors to prepare our son for the SAT. He is difficult to motivate, and our tutor was able to reach him and push him. Our son actually asked for more sessions than we originally planned!
We used Varsity Tutors to help our son prepare for his AP World History exam. He struggles with his study habits and had trouble keeping up with the amount of material covered in the class. Our tutor taught him the study skills he needed to do well not only with this class, but all of his classes. We'll be using Varsity Tutors again at SAT time!
I have used other tutoring services, and I have been pleased with how much better organized Varsity Tutors is compared to the other services. I am also very happy with the quality of tutors provided by Varsity Tutors: the tutors are timely, qualified and highly professional. I wanted you to know how impressed I was with my tutor, Michael. He is very brilliant and effective with his teaching method. I was happy to see that he understood the work I needed to get done. I went from feeling I would definitely fail my college algebra course to thinking I could make an 'A'. I ended this course with a 'B'. I cannot thank Varsity Tutors and Michael enough for the help.
