"In today's session, the student and I reviewed the new chapter 10 math concepts of converting lengths and capacity. We reviewed adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions. "This session we worked mostly on math and science. The student had homework on solving systems of equations by graphing. He has been doing well with linear equations, and wanted to go over word problems and the new vocab. Overall, he seemed to understand the basic concept. For science we reviewed his vocab notes. The unit is on energy, so he created a flowchart of the relationship of types of energy with real life examples of each. Finally, we went over his intro paragraph for his research paper and discussed how to address the teacher's edits."
