"The student and I went over a test he got back on everything he has learned in trigonometry thus far. Overall, the student did reasonably well on the test, making just a couple errors. We went over the questions that the student got incorrect. He was good at spotting his own mistakes and was able to work out the correct answers."
"The student and I went over his previous quiz on trig identities. Overall, he doesn't have many gaps in his knowledge, I think he just ran out of time and made a few small mistakes. We will address this issue in future sessions. He and I then worked on his current material, which is integrals. We practiced using u substitution and representing areas as integrals."

"Today, we worked on preparing for the student's upcoming test. We continued working on log and exponential functions, this time targeting the areas you needed more help in. We went over the worksheet the teacher gave the student, which mainly covered all types of exponential functions, and I definitely think the student has that down! The student solved so many of them without my help at all. After that, we went over the checkpoints in section 3.4. As long as the student remembers the log and ln rules, the student will do great, especially the product and quotient rules! I've definitely seen an improvement in the math abilities so far, even after just three sessions. I think we're definitely on a good track for the future."

"We reviewed rational functions, determining the domain and if it is continuous. We identified horizontal and vertical asymptotes. We used guidelines on degree of polynomials in numerator and denominator to find value of asymptotes. We worked on graphing rational functions by hand, simplifying, finding intercepts and asymptotes. We solved several example problems together."
