"Gas Laws Intermolecular Forces Phase Diagrams This session was a review for the student's exam tomorrow - so he was very familiar with all of the concepts we went over today. We went through several practice problems from his previous worksheets, review guides, and exams. I helped him work on manipulating formulas to make it easier to solve problems that he may be presented with on his exam. I also spent time explaining to him how molecules interact with one another in the three states. I provided him with links to some videos that helped refresh him on some topics as well."
"We worked on Chapter 8 today: momentum, center of mass, and impulse. The student is doing better at understanding the fundamentals of the physics involved, beyond the explanations in the book."
"We talked about solutions and the various ways to depict solutions in terms of formulas. For example, we discussed complete ionic formulas, net ionic formulas, and spectator ions. Then we went over the concepts of acids and bases. Furthermore, we touched on several definitions involving solution chemistry, such as precipitation reactions and precipitates."
