Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Our session covered electrochemical cells, standard reduction potentials, and the use of the Nernst equation. The student has a very good command of the standard material, and thinks critically about these topics."
"The student has a test Tuesday, so we covered classification and taxonomy for the majority of the time. Specifically, we looked at the various levels of categorization and characteristics of organisms in each level. Near the end, we started to go over circulation and respiration in different animals. She was very open and receptive to instruction and had a good attitude towards the material. I mentioned using mnemonics to learn the levels of classification. This weekend, I'll email her to see how her test went so I can modify my strategy if need be."
"The student had a previous test to correct. We went through it together, making sure she understood how to set up the problems in the x and y directions. We covered projectile motion, as well as springs and conservation of momentum. She's not sure when she has her next set, so we'll set up the next meeting once she has it."
