Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We took this time to study and create a reference sheet for the student's test the next day. She says she feels good about it and was able to attack the challenging questions head on. I look forward to seeing her score!"
"She is an extremely dedicated student and she needed help with null hypothesis testing. We discussed how to define the null and alternative hypothesis as well as what these two values mean. We also discussed calculating a standard deviation, z score, and finding the P value. Finally, we touched on calculating a confidence interval and what that means in regard to where the true average lies. She ended up understanding it all quite well."
"The student and I covered some basic concepts of probability. We mostly spoke about concepts such as conditional probabilities, independence, and percentiles. I also briefly spoke about z-scores: how to find them, how to interpret them, etc."
"We re-did some older problems and went into more depth. I think the student getting a better grasp. We will likely meet again this weekend or early next week."
"This session, we began reviewing for an upcoming test. We went over the steps to hypothesis testing, focusing on the meaning of critical values and p values. The student is developing a better understanding of the material. We will continue reviewing next week."
"We discussed how to do equations from the student's homework on multiple regressions. We will go over the calculations tomorrow."
