Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today the student and I reviewed one of her previous units that she'd been having some trouble with. This was the unit on production, savings and investment, GDP, and finance. We reviewed one of her previous practice tests, retaking it and then walking through each question point by point. We went more slowly today than last session. The student got many of the questions right and was able to guess the right answer in the other cases once we reviewed some strategies for completing the different types of question."
"The student and I reviewed average total cost and average variable cost concepts for her final test before the end of the quarter. She seemed to be gain confidence in her knowledge of the material throughout our session. I expect she will do well on her exam."
"The student and I went over Chapter 19 on Wages and Discrimination. We went over all definitions in the chapter and worked on some practice questions while completing his homework. We went over the differences between firm and consumer discrimination. We also went over what happens when wages are artificially changed."
