Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We covered simple and multiple regression in this session and I think the student really understood the material. At the end I sent her some materials that illustrate comprehensive interpretation of multiple regressions, for her reference. We also discussed her final project assignment."
"We covered two sections of chapter six. The student completed two homework sections. Sections covered were: 6.1-Angles and 6.2-Unit circle approach. The concept is still new to the student, but with every question she understood it."
"We covered systems of equations, quadratic equations, exponential functions, etc. The student needs more practice to apply what he learned as concepts into real application. Student saw significant progress in test score."
"Today the student and I worked on radical equations. I personally think the student is better at math than he thinks he is. I pretended to need a little refresher on radicals because it has been so long since I learned them, and the student did a perfectly fine job explaining the concepts to me. He totally gets it but may need an extra push to stay on top of the assignments and get the grade he wants."
"We discussed problems involving discrete and continuous probability distributions including the normal and binomial distributions and worked a variety of problems. Overall, the student has a very good understanding of the material. As always, I suggest additional practice, and I believe he will do well on his exam Thursday."
"The student and I discussed solving probability problems using continuous and normal distributions. We continued to work on conditional probability, dependent, and independent events probability problems. She has a test this Thursday and we were able to begin working through a practice test."
