"We went over multiple variable and grouping problems from the logic games section of the exam. He struggled initially but seemed to gain confidence and was answering the questions better towards the end of the session. We talked a bit about time management and how to move through the logic more quickly. For next time we will continue to work on logic games. He will also take a practice exam in full and bring any questions to our next session."
"The student and I worked on advanced linear games tonight. She does pretty well with them, and should practice more; if possible, for additional efficiency and avoiding simple mistakes (such as mis-reading rules, or skipping a rule when reading and diagramming). We will work on grouping games tomorrow."
"We reviewed an LSAT that the student had completed on his own last week. He did very well on most of the sections, but he made a small mistake with one of the logic games that made him miss some of the problems associated with that set. On the other test sections, he did very well. He missed a few questions, but was able to identify the flaw in his thinking once I worked through the problems with him. At this point, practice is the most reliable way to increase his score. Sometimes he runs out of time to finish the logic games section, but if he is able to maintain his high accuracy on the problems that he does complete, then being unable to reach the final problem set won't be an issue."
