Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We reviewed what we covered last time (the time, parts of the day). We worked on the sounds "u" and "ou" on my computer and we read a little story. I asked the student questions during the reading and he could answer some of them."
"We began with a series of 10-12 personal questions to stimulate conversation. We used computer to access TV5Monde, then watched and listened to an expose on the Ebola crisis in French. We then reinforced the video with conversation and written exercises."
"Today, I covered a big list of the kitchen vocabulary, and the first and the second group of the verbs rule in French. I also gave them some popular ready phrases in French that are related to what they wrote during the session. Then I asked them to write three sentences to see how good they were in the basics. We agreed on giving them a homework once a week. The students seem to be so interested in learning French. Also, from now on, I will make sure to cover the four components of learning a foreign language: oral expression, written expression, oral comprehension, and reading comprehension."
