Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We had a good session. We worked through some of the new material and some previous homework material. We're planning to have weekly sessions, going forward."
"We reviewed for the student's third exam of the semester. He provided a test key from last semester about macroeconomic concepts, including inflation, employment, fiscal and monetary policy, trade, and GDP growth. He seems way better prepared for this exam than for the last one, and we came up with a short list of tasks for him to complete and topics to study between now and the exam tomorrow."
"First, I obtained more information about her current status in the course and her goals. We agreed that we would primarily focus on helping her prepare for the upcoming final. I also wanted to determine the best approach to help her, and we decided to focus on the review of challenging concepts. In doing so, I also provided a bit of guidance on how the information could potentially be presented on the exam. This evening, we had an extensive review of monetary policy, federal reserve tools/actions, and the impact of these actions upon interest rates and other economic factors. She obtained a good understanding of the concepts. She took notes, and I will be also sending her a screen shot of a graph, along with other notes as well."
