Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We spent a good deal of our session on review of aggregate supply and demand as well as previous concepts we had gone over. We took a look at how many of the concepts we've been reviewing tie together in a way that allows for multiple approaches on some multiple choice questions. For our new material, we then turned to fiscal policy and the importance of the spending multiplier. We will wrap up fiscal policy at our next session. Meanwhile, the student will complete a full length practice test before our next session."
"Today we continued with the money system. We went over the remainder of her definitions and concepts. The student had trouble with the tools of monetary policy and the responsibilities of the FED. I made sure she remembered use the reviews to aid her in these new concepts. We then went over properties/different types of money as well as its main uses. The student has a better understanding of the course since we started the sessions."
"Today the student and I got the results from her most recent quiz--a 90%! I congratulated her on this excellent improvement. We then went over some concepts in monetary policy that she wanted clarification on--fiscal vs monetary policy, open market operations, expansionary and contractionary monetary policies, and more. We then did some practice problems, as she has not done any in a while and needs to get back in that rhythm for the test."
