Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"After reviewing inflation indices and unemployment forms, we spent the rest of the session on aggregate supply and demand. We covered the basic structure of each and the difference from an individual good's supply and demand curve. We then wrapped up with factors causing a shift in AS/AD with some example problems and analysis of effects on the graphs."
"We did a quick overview of aggregate demand and supply and the shifters of those curves. We then reviewed the recessionary gap, inflationary gaps, and full employment. Lastly, we tied all of the concepts together -- how changes in aggregate demand and aggregate supply relate to the Phillips curve, business cycle, and production possibility curve. The student has been asked to practice with these concepts and continue to work on her AP questions before the next session."
"Today the student and I reviewed the results of her most recent quiz--a 5/7, a marked improvement from her class average. We then started to review for next week's quiz focusing on the shifters of aggregate demand and aggregate supply. She seemed to be confident in the material."
