"The student and I prepared for a presentation he has in his US History class on James Meredith and the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s. We also began to study for an upcoming test he has in US History on the Civil Rights movement, the Great Society, and American popular culture in the 1950s and 1960s."
"The student and I finished up with Reconstruction this week. During this session, we went over outlining strategies and practiced outlining sections of the chapter, discussing methods of reading to allow for better retention. We will both outline the same chapter this week and compare notes next Wednesday."
"In this session, we reviewed Chapter 12: The Great Depression in preparation for the student's in-class PowerPoint project, touching over the most important aspects of the era. Following our review of Chapter 12, we finished Chapter 13: The New Deal, detailing the US recovery following the Depression. We covered unfamiliar vocabulary terms and I quizzed him on the important topics of Chapter 12."
