"Today, we started by talking about words and phrases used when ordering lunch. They were familiar with most of them, which was a good indicator of their progress. Afterwards, we reviewed past tense and dependent clauses. At first, they were having problems remembering how to organize sentences, but they became acclimated after a few examples. I then asked them to have a conversation with me in German. For the most part, they did well at forming their own sentences, but sometimes mistook the context of the questions I was asking. At the end, I introduced them to words and phrases they might use while traveling or vacationing."
"We went over some vocab and grammar he had trouble with while working on his language program. We reviewed question words and wrote down different sample questions in different tenses. He is now able to answer to specific questions in the correct tense. He is supposed to learn all question words by heart by tomorrow."
"This lesson, we finished going over adjective declensions. First, we went over the homework, then we introduced the dative case. The student is getting more fluent at using adjective endings, so I think we will be able to break new ground next time."
