Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I spent the first part of our session going over logical reasoning. We went over several problems he had questions on, and then went through a whole section together. We also discussed which question types are best to skip right off the bat to maximize his time. We then worked on games, where his timing is continuing to improve."
"Today the student and I covered last-minute doubts before her exam on Saturday. We reviewed timing strategies and ways for her to relax pre-test. She feels confident and well-prepared going into Saturday's test."
"Drafting arguments for the writing sample; what law schools look for on the essays and how to give it to them; putting your conclusion up front without repeating facts from the question; reviewing tactics and methods for advanced logic games."
"The student and I met and made a plan for his LSAT prep. I answered all of his questions and introduced him to the test. We're going to plan on meeting later this week. He is going to get a review book and then we're going to dive into logic games."
"The student took a practice test prior to our first session. We discussed his score, his goals, and general topics related to the LSAT. We spent most of the session going over the practice test and discussing general tips for approaching questions and time management strategies. At the end of the session we discussed what we would be focusing on going forward and I assigned several practice problems for him to prepare for our next session. He also asked if I could prepare some hand outs containing the general tips I mentioned during the session which I will be doing."
"We went over sufficient and necessary conditions, argument structures, diagramming rules, and strengthening questions. You need to focus on diagramming "unless" statements. Overall, it was a great first session."
