"Since graduating, I have been tutoring one student in both biology and algebra. I have always been very highly regarded for my tutoring with excellent results in my students. During my junior and senior years at UC Berkeley, I acted as a mentor to an underclass chemical engineering student. While I was not directly tutoring the student, I was passing on my experiences and knowledge of the program and college life. Along with tutoring, I am also an assistant coach for high school cross country and track and field teams. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies and hanging out with my friends.." ...

"I was always the most interested in the roles that allowed me to teach others. I tutored other students in calculus while in college and younger students in high school. I graduated from Keck Graduate Institute (part of the Claremont Colleges) with a Masters in BioScience degree. I obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University and graduated Cum Laude. I was also the valedictorian of my high school class. I love to travel, but now with a toddler running around, it's fun to pass on all of my life's learning to my little one." ...

" I always try to find ways to make the subject matter easy to relate to. I don't believe there is such a thing as a difficult subject, I just believe that each student has strengths and weaknesses, and that it is best to focus on the strengths and use them to overcome the weaknesses. For example, some students struggle with word problems in math, but they enjoy drawing pictures. I like to teach students how to draw pictures to solve word problems."
