"The student and I reviewed her last two tests, making corrections as necessary. She had to look up a couple of formulas, but was able to successfully complete each problem. We also looked at what her class is learning right now and did a bit of pre-teaching. Good job!!"
"The student and I worked through triangle proofs and problems for the first part of the session then went on to discuss Biology (meiosis). We worked through the beginning of chapter 6 and discussed problems missed on her previous biology quiz."
"The student and I began a new subject in geometry. We practiced rotating and flipping objects around lines and axis. We also covered rotating objects around a given point as well as the origin of the coordinate plane."
"Today we finished reviewing the material for the student's test. The topics we covered today were as follows: the Pythagorean Theorem; the relationships among relative angle measures and relative side lengths in triangles; classifying a triangle as acute, right, or obtuse; and finding the lengths of sides in 45-45-90 and 30-60-90 triangles. I assigned him practice problems and flash cards to finish his studying. His test was moved to Monday, so he now has the whole weekend to finish preparing."
"The student and I worked on variation problems. She is doing really well with the subject and got through the section fairly easily. He and I went further in the textbook and talked about more triangle theorems. We are already a couple of sections ahead of his class. He's doing very well!"

I believe that he has mastered the following concepts: linear pairs, parallel lines and the angle relationship created by a transversal line, complementary angles, supplementary angles, and adjacent angles. I believe that the student is fully prepared for his assessment."
"The student and I continued on with the next module of her online geometry course, which consisted of a series of eighteen review questions. She had emailed me her completed essay that we had began last week, so that I could review/correct it before she submitted it. As I made corrections to the essay, she answered the review questions. We then went over the review questions and corrected the essay together."
"We worked through some homework problems today. Topics included parallels, bisectors and proof by contradiction. I had the student do one of the problems using the longer method."
"We reviewed for the student's upcoming test on translations. We reviewed the different types of translations and their properties. Then we discussed the formulas that belonged to rotation, reflection and dilation. She asked to review some of the formulas in detail, so we did examples using graphs to give her a visual aid."
"The student and I prepared for her upcoming chapter exam by working on her chapter review assignment. Based on the problems provided by her teacher, the student and I reviewed interior and exterior angles of triangles and explored triangle congruence. I provided the student with mini-lessons on these topics and sample problems, and she tackled the problems on her chapter review assignment. Following this work, we reviewed plotting points on a coordinate plane briefly. I left the student with notes for her review."
"This session we continued to review the student's foundations in geometry. Most notably we reviewed the sections relating to triangle concurrency and worked out several proofs. I think the student's base is getting better and when we reviewed some of his old tests that he struggled with he could find his errors and get to the right solution. From there we did some of his current lessons and made sure he had a full understanding of his home work."
"We went through proof of similarity between triangles. He understands the subject really well, but has difficulty expressing that in a written form."
