"The student and I covered electric potential, electric field interaction between point charges, and simple circuit concepts beginning with Ohm's Law. We went through the homework very quickly, and his only issue was with how to find the Electric Field inside a Gaussian Sphere, so we did a couple of extra problems concerning that."
"We went over practice exams for the Chemistry Olympiad exam that the student is taking this week. In particular we focused on unfamiliar material related to osmotic pressure and vapor pressure (which are not particularly emphasized on the AP exam, but seem to be more important for the Chemistry Olympiad). As with last week, I was impressed with his ability to reason through problems and apply his impressive knowledge of chemistry. His conceptual understanding is strong, and further practice applying his knowledge in unfamiliar situations (i.e. novel problems) will continue to help him develop his chemistry skills."
"We covered basic loops for C programming. Two main types are for and while (in addition to do-while). I showed him a basic inverted triangle problem, an array initialization example, and some nested loop examples and how to keep track of conditions and variable/counter values."
