Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I covered logical reasoning and logic games in our session. She has a good grasp on logic games, and I encouraged her to practice on familiarizing herself with as many game types as possible. Doing several practice games and reading the explanations will help her become comfortable with how to solve the problems. We will continue to work on these in our sessions. She is much more natural at logical reasoning and can predict the answers well. I gave her a practice test with review of the explanations as homework."
"The student and I discussed the notes I shared with her yesterday on reading comprehension. We then reviewed the logical reasoning practice questions that she did a few days ago. I will send her some notes on identifying question types and common logical flaws and gaps present in these questions. We also diagrammed an advanced linear game. Tomorrow, the plan is to work on some diagramming drills, with the aim of getting her more comfortable with the start of each logical game."
"We focused on Reading Comprehension: Finding the Main Point of a Paragraph. The student did great. He is getting the hang of active reading and following the argument of the passages. All the questions we did were very hard and he answered about half of them right the first try. Next time we are going to focus on logic games."
