Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I once again worked on her U.S. History and Government homework. Specifically, we finished the legislative branch and worked on assignments related to the Vietnam War and the Watergate Scandal. She is showing vast improvement in her ability to retain facts learned in the lessons. The student also performed well on her TOEFL exam, achieving a score that allows her to enroll in any local 4-year university."
"Today, the student and I finished Chapter 10, reviewing changes in social and economic structures in the North and Northwest during the Industrial Revolution and the immigration wave of the mid-1800s. From there, we reviewed the lead up to the Civil War, the aristocratic South, the Second Great Awakening and calls for reform and abolition, as well as the Compromise of 1850 and the Bleeding Kansas crisis. We are now in a good position to move forward to Chapter 14 and the Civil War."
"We finished up the paper concerning the history of preservation and conservation. We then looked briefly at the next subject in Psychology: Sex Education. Unfortunately, she will not be back until the 22nd, and we will be unable to meet again until the 25th."
