"The student and I discussed his Spanish assignment where he had to write answers to questions or create questions to correspond with answers given, using a few different past tenses."
"We used a puzzle game with vocabulary of common items and materials. We reinforced vocabulary, but the main object was for me to speak to him using as much Spanish as possible. He repeated words in Spanish when I asked him to, and also sometimes volunteered the words. We also continued to use colors, numbers, and other Spanish vocab he already has. With the other two students, I continued to use the word magnets we started with last week. First we reviewed the types of sentences that we made last week. Then I introduced some new words. I had brought conjugated verbs for "ser" and "estar" (to be) and "ir" (to go). I asked them to look at the verbs and identify the pattern in the conjugation, which they were able to do; we will continue to reinforce that pattern in future sessions. We also talked about adjective endings (feminine/masculine and singular/plural). We had touched on that before, but this week we worked on making sentences and changing the adjective endings as needed. We finished up with a couple rounds of Bingo using places. This time I had them take a turn reading out the clues, to work on pronunciation."
"We went over two activities over the direct object pronoun and the superlative. I assigned the student homework in preparation for the test on Friday."
